Echo Valley Provincial Park Interpretive Center Conversion

Echo Valley Provincial Park Interpretive Center Conversion Scope

In 2015, Sarah Turnbull Interior Design, was selected with a group of consultants led by Walker Project to provide renovation design services for a new Provincial Park office. The consultant team consisted of Walker Projects, Mitchell Architect, Sarah Turnbull Interior Design, Mechanical Design Group and Alfa Engineering. Sarah was responsible for the Interiors scope of the project. The building had been used as a juvenile offender’s facility and required new functional spaces and a face lift to revitalize the building. Concepts for the building were inspired by the Park itself, including the legend of Qu’Appelle Valley and the erosion elements of the land. The project completed construction drawings but was put on hold for tender until 2018. When the project was revived the consultant group changed to 1080 Architecture, Inertia Solutions, Sarah Turnbull Interior Design/Bespoke Interior Design, Mechanical Design Group and Alfa Engineering.
